Roblox Mother and Son Team

Just around 2 weeks ago, my son Blake introduced me to a wonderful world of Roblox. And boy, I got hooked. The first game we played was McDonalds Tycoon, Blake showed me the ropes and I finished the game with flying colors, LOL.

The game I really enjoy is the Retail Tycoon. I love how my sone and I can be on a same world (server). Below is a photo of me and Blake sitting on a bench in my store. Haha!

What’s really cool about these roblox games is you and your son can be on a same team. You can help each other out on obbies (obstacle course) and can even challenge each other. The point is even online you can have quality time and your bond will grow, expressing your love is possible too!

I’m just pleased that my son wanted to bond with me online too as much as he wants in real life.

What do you think about this online bond thingy, is it good or bad? Share your thoughts!

Blake and the Chocolate Factory

So last week, I talked about our search for Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar and the Golden Ticket. And I promised to share with you how I made my Do-It-Yourself Wonka Bar with the Golden Ticket.

Here’s the templates I found on the internet, print them on A4 size papers.

These are the materials I used.

Willy Wonka Chocolate Bar and the Golden Ticket

Oooops, Blake almost caught me doing it, LOL. I was in a hurry because he wouldn’t really leave my side for the rest of the day.

I’m happy because the print out fits perfectly with the chocolate bar I bought.

Here’s the finished product:

Blake is so happy to see the Chocolate Bar!

And the happiest kid on the block when he got the Golden Ticket!

All in all, it was such a fun experience and I’m just so pleased to see my baby very happy! Now, he wont stop staring and raving about his most precious possession: Mr. Wonka’s Golden Ticket.

What’s the greatest way to celebrate this victorious day? What else but to watch the endless reruns of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Oh I almost forgot to mention, both 1971 and 2005 version of the movie are on Netflix. Here are the links:

The search for Mr. Wonka’s Golden Ticket

After watching an endless reruns of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971, starring the late Gene Wilder) and it’s remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005, starring Johnny Depp), my son Blake won’t stop asking me about the Wonka Bar with the Golden Ticket.

We even went to the supermarket and got every chocolate bars he thinks will have the golden ticket and excitingly opened each one on the way home. I could tell by the look on his face as he opened every bar that he’s quite disappointed, and as a mother it made me really sad and amused at the same time.

I’ve searched the internet for the thing and learned that there is really no such thing as Wonka Chocolate Bar with a Golden Ticket.

But… What I did found out is that I can DIY it! Oh, thank God for internet… and Youtube!

I’ll share here how to do it in a couple of days, stay tuned!
